2024 Educator of the Year

The Parker Rotary Club is delighted to unveil the recipients of the Teacher of the Year award. We hold our educators in high regard, recognizing the unwavering dedication they exhibit towards nurturing our youth. We deeply appreciate the tireless efforts, time investments, and the formidable challenges they confront daily. From each school, a distinguished teacher has been nominated as the representative winner, each receiving a $150 check to utilize as they deem fit, alongside a plaque and a charcuterie board. Subsequently, these five exceptional educators are nominated for the prestigious title of Overall Educator of the Year winning an additional $250.

Congratulations to Duce Minor - the new District Governor for District 5490

Parker Rotary would like to congratulate Duce Minor, new District Governor for District 5490. There are 40 clubs in the District. This includes the towns of Parker, Lake Havasu City, Quartzsite, Needles , CA., Grand Canyon, Bullhead City, Sun City, Surprise, Wickenburg, Goodyear, Glendale, Peoria, Prescott, Kingman, Williams, Sedona and Phoenix.

This is a great honor to have the District Governor from our own home Town of Parker.

Duce became the Governor on July 1, 2013. Duce has been a Rotarian for 24 years. He served as President of Parker Rotary for 2 separate terms and been named Rotarian of the year twice.
